How is the pearl attached to the jewels?
The classic method of all jewellers is to pierce the pearl on one side and glue it to a pivot. Each pearl is unique and with a concern for ecology, Tereva has created a system that allows the pearls to be changed on each jewel. This system allows you to play on an infinite choice of shapes and colors in order to customize your jewel and make it a unique element.
The Tereva Colas interchangeable system
This unique system consists of 2 elements, a “female” and a “male” screw. In order to secure the jewel so that it does not unscrew, 2 strong magnets are fixed on each side. The two magnets come into contact when the system is fully screwed, allowing the pearl to be safely held on the jewel.
Each of the products in the Tereva Colas collections can be mounted on white, pink and yellow gold as well as silver.
